The Met Store introduces the Camp Capsule in celebration of yesterday evening's luxurious event. The range features creative works done by high fashion designers including those from Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Off-White, Moschino, Richard Quinn, and more.
All of the contributing talents create their own designs that captivate their own understanding of camp, featuring the “elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration.” Some of the pieces in the Camp capsule include apparel, fragrances, and accessories as well, informed with themed graphics on sweats and tees. One of the standout pieces is the sock pouch by Vaquera, which is essentially a white sock transformed into a bag with the long chain. The capsule also showcases artwork created by Kaplowitz, each one limited to 20 editions.
