Weber lives year-around in a 1909 Soo Line train caboose built in 1909 and purchased in 1975. The caboose house has underwent a few modifications since it was built but still manages to retain its old world charm.
Weber moved into the caboose house full-time after divorcing from her husband. The first few years, the home had no modern amenities such as a washer and dryer or toilet, but Weber toughed it out and eventually managed to modernize her house and turn it into a home. Today, the 337-square foot caboose looks as homey as any other, with all of the modern conveniences one would expect in a normal, non-train home.
