Product and furniture designer Jake Barker created this convenient bedside table that features a handy built-in lamp.

The 'Lux Bedside Table' was specially made to accommodate how individuals experience and interact with light. With its contemporary design, the bedside table is able to seamlessly integrate with a built-in lamp to create a dual purpose piece of furniture that is also highly decorative.

A white LED light gives off a soft ambient glow that can be either dimmed or brightened by simply touching a polished steel plate. The three brightness settings range from a soft night light to a focused beam of light depending on the user's needs. The lamp is also attached to the table using magnetic force, and can be easily moved and directed towards any point that requires additional lighting.
