These Building Block Toys are Recreated Using Rustic Wood

The BTmanufacture recently put together a collection of building block toys that remake the classic LEGO pieces using rustic wood. The substitution in material offers a much more organic and natural take on the traditional children's toy.

LEGO is typically made out of colorful pieces of plastic, but BTmanufacture offers an unconventional take on the building blocks by remaking the modular figurines out of oak. Each figurine is crafted entirely by hand in BTmanufacture's workshop and they are available in large-scale sizes ranging from 10 to 30-inches in height. The figurines are packaged inside a square wooden LEGO brick box that adds an element of whimsy to toy. The change in materials gives these LEGO figurines a much more demure decorative aesthetic.
