Meta has unveiled its latest piece of Metaverse technology, the 'Builder Bot.' With the Builder Bot, users can create their own unique digital landscape simply by describing it with their voice. Builder Bot is powered by an advanced artificial intelligence that can understand linguistic instructions and translate these instructions into a digital world.
For example, in the demo, Mark Zuckerberg tells the Builder Bot to "go to a park," at which point the empty environment fills with grass, trees, and a blue sky. Zuckerberg and his associate then continue giving the bot instructions such as "add seagulls," and each time the bot is instructed to build something, it automatically inserts these assets into the world. The uses of Builder Bot do not end with visual assets, though, as Zuckerberg showcased the ability to create music with the AI as well. Currently, it is unspecified whether or not the Builder Bot AI is generating entirely new assets or if it is pulling from a large library of previously created digital assets as this is the only trailer Meta has shown.
