The 'Brandblack Aura II' combines multiple sneaker inspirations to create something flashy and unique. The Aura II combines the recent look of the bulky and over-sized Balenciaga Triple S and the sleek and futuristic Vetements x Reebok. These styles are masterfully blended to create the shoe, giving it a 90's vibe with modern detailing. The current colorway of the Aura II comes in neon green, orange and black. The upper comes in a bootie style with a construction of leather, mesh and corduroy. The midsole features rubber and the outsole is comprised of a traction-focused Vibram rubber.
The Aura II comes from newcomer sneaker company Brandblack. Founded by former Skechers and adidas exec David Raysse, Brandblack has already gained recognition for aiding Lavar and Lonzo Ball in the creation of their Big Baller Brand sneakers. When looking at the Brandblack Aura II, it is pretty easy to see the influence Skechers had on the design. Raysse played a key role in Skechers so it comes as no surprise that certain design influences would be shown in the newest Brandbalck sneaker.
