Direct-to-Consumer Olive Oils

Olive Oil Brand Branche is Committed to Transparency and Flavor

Branche is a new direct-to-consumer olive oil brand committed to setting new standards for sourcing, transparency, and flavor. What sets the brand apart from traditional olive oil manufacturers is its unique sourcing process. Every Branche bottle is sourced from a single farm in Tabernas, Spain. It takes about 1,500-1,600 Picual, Arbequina and Hojiblanca olives to make a bottle of Branche No. 1, and 1,600 Arbequina olives to make a bottle of Branche No. 2.

While developing Branche, Cofounder and CEO Carlos Agudo tasted over 100 olive oils from dozens of olive varietals to find the most exceptional one. Agudo eventually became a professional olive oil taster and met with dozens of olive oil farmers before settling on Rafael in Tabernas, Span. Both individuals were aligned on their dedication to transparency including sustainable sourcing practices, fair pay, and more. Moreover, Branche runs each batch by its team of sensory experts to ensure accurate descriptions. This means that if an olive oil is described as either buttery, herbaceous, or garlicky, that's exactly how the olive oil tastes.
