Tree Branch-Inspired Stools (UPDATE)

The Branca Stool Receives a Makeover from Industrial Facility

The Branca Stool is a piece of furniture that has been constantly reworked over the past five year. Originally made by Mattiazzi studio, the piece was picked up by designers at Industrial Facility, who updated the overall look and feel of the seat.

The stool is actually inspired by tree branches, and their ability to bend over the years. While the stool still has many straight lines, the seating section takes on this curved aesthetic. Instead of using bright colors for the look, Industrial Facility went with more earthy colors including brown, gray and black. This also makes the chair easy to match with various interiors, as each design is done with a neutral tone.

The Branca Stool stands out as a minimalist and functional stool design.
