The traditional rocking chair may take a tried-and-true form, but the Booiai Chair by Mateusz Chmura offers a refreshing redesign to granny's favorite recliner. Inspired by the concept art of Luiza Kwiatkowska, this poetic piece of furniture takes a rounded form optimal for its oscillating function.

Looking much like half of a broken eggshell, the space-age seat incorporates plushy padding up to the arms of the chair and the center of the backrest. The overall shape is contemporary and organic, giving the piece the air of a calming sit-in sanctuary.

A glossy white pod lined with soft orange padding gives the Booiai Chair by Mateusz Chmura the overwhelming look of a literal egg, making it the perfect place to curl up in and feel safe.
