Designer Simone Modella has designed a fierce four-wheeler dubbed the BMW Tandem. The Tandem is a two-seater off-roader designed to tear up the track as well as the trail. The aggressive design of this car is a departure from typical BMW designs which are known for their elegance and grace as opposed to their ability to intimidate.
The BMW Tandem is a conceptual design in every sense of the phrase, but it is grounded in reality in one aspect: its engine. The Tandem is powered by the same 193 horsepower engine found in the BMW S1000rr motorcycle. It's unlikely that BMW would branch out into off-road vehicles anytime soon given its success and its image as a maker of luxury automobiles. Still, it's nice to see what a BMW-badged off-road vehicle would look like should one ever exist.
