BLUEMARBLE’s Fall/Winter 2023 show was a huge success at Paris Fashion Week, and to carry on the glory, the brand has debuted a new sneaker called ‘Kellys.’ Inspired by the surfer champion Kelly Slater, this silhouette boasts a distressed cotton twill construction, flame motifs, wavy lines, and a gum sole unit. The sneaker also features multiple eyelets extending the laces from the front of the shoe to the heel. The entire shoe is dipped in a neutral beige shade that contrasts with the orangey-brown coloring on the outsole.
“Kelly Slater was one of my idols growing up, and it felt fitting to channel my love of board sports into the first BLUEMARBLE sneakers. I wanted to develop a design that would enhance our men’s wear and be embraced by our community. These Kellys are just the beginning,” said Anthony Alvarez.
