Microsoft Has Purchased a Data Privacy Company Named Blue Talon

Microsoft has recently acquired the data privacy company, Blue Talon. The company works mostly in assisting companies to create and implement policies for data accessing, Blue Talon also has data auditing services. Both of the companies have not indicated any of the costs surrounding the acquisition, however, before the deal, Blue Talon was able to raise $27.4 million USD.

Microsoft's corporate VP for Azure Data believes the acquisition will allow enhanced data security along with an increased ability to push the industry forward. Data is being used more and more across many different industries. As data becomes an important commodity, protecting it becomes an equal priority. Microsoft has clearly made a step towards protecting data security and sees it as a priority.
