The Andy Lee Blue Iceland images reveal a dark, haunting side to the country's Blue Lagoon region. While Iceland's hills are typically covered in lush green grass, Lee has instead decided to focus upon cloudy skies, charcoal shades and isolated peaks.
To get the many monochromatic shades present in these images, Lee used an infrared lens. Drama is rampant in the shots as they showcase storms brewing ahead and flowing beds of water below.
While the scenes are for the most part barren without any trace of human activity, there is some movement present. Horses trot about the landscape, enabling viewers to take in both the natural fauna and the towering mountains that loom just beyond the animal herds.
