Blaise Arnold Captures Lonely Cars and Bistros Before They Disappear

Blaise Arnold is on a mission to capture a dying era before it's too late. Through his latest photo series, Red Lights, the artist peruses through dark Parisian Streets -- always after a fresh rainfall -- in order to shoot lonely and lost bars and bistros that hark back to a more nostalgic time fill with local character and charm.

The resulting images are beautifully cinematic. Blaise Arnold manages to relay not only the personality of these places, but also their transitory existence. Yes, some of them may have been around for decades, but through Blaise Arnold's artistic eye, it's clear they don't have many more years left in them. Melancholic and wistful, the Red Lights photo series is a beautiful tribute to these nightlife staples.
