BLAHW Unveils its FW21 Range Inspired by an Iconic Portrait
Japanese fashion label BLAHW introduces its latest collection for the season and it is inspired by the chaos that ensued in the past year. The brand launches a capsule for the Fall/Winter 2021 season and specifically looks to the Portrait of Tracy by Jaco Pastorius.
The artist evokes delicate emotions through his works of art through the textures and atmosphere. It seamlessly sets the tone for the seasonal designs, elevated by relaxed cuts and a versatile color palette. The seasonal capsule also remixes some staple silhouettes including half-tuxedo tops, pierced sweaters, Western style coach jackets, and sideline trousers. This gives the capsule a more outré spirit in contrast to the more conventional pieces such as belt pants, tees, knitted hoodies, oversized shirts, and work jackets.
