The Birdies Fulk Collection Celebrates the Iconic Interior Designer

Drawing from his obsession with animals, Ken Fulk has recently collaborated with luxury home slipper startup Birdies to create a line of whimsical and intriguing footwear. Founded by Marisa Sharkey and Bianca Gates, Birdies has been creating luxurious slippers since 2015, with the goal of designing footwear that can be worn both inside and outside. The interiors of all Birdies feature satin or faux fur for warmth, while a rubber sole aids in traction when walking around.

This collaboration with Ken Fulk is the first for the brand, with Fulk being chosen as both Sharkey and Gates wanted to work alongside an interior designer rather than a fashion designer. The outcome was four distinct designs that feature eclectic silhouettes that embrace playful colors, materials, and animal-inspired motifs.
