Occupy Wall Street protesters are not going to be happy with the Bernardo Bajana conceptual riot shield. Bajana has designed a riot shield designed to give the police more ways to protect themselves from angry protesters.
The Bernardo Bajana shield is inspired by the shell of an armadillo and can be extended to provide more protection if needed. The shield has more offensive capabilities than current shields and is capable of deploying pepper spray. It is also lined with electrified strips designed to ensure that demonstrators keep their hands to themselves. A shield this powerful may scare some, but it could potentially be a good thing, as protesters would be discouraged from fighting with police.
