The Internet has become the one of the best platforms to launch a nonprofit organization or project, and with the help of Bellstrike, this process is now a lot easier.
According to this South Carolina startup, "$15 billion of the $229 billion that individuals give to nonprofits annually comes online," which is why Bellstrike designed a way for these organizations to build their own websites free of charges and confusing coding. By simply selecting a template and filling in the blanks, nonprofits can expect to have a high quality, searchable site.
Targeted for small organizations, Bellstrike promises to deliver an excellent service; however, there is a price for that, which is a deductible fee of 9.5 percent for each donation. This amount covers all the credit card transactions fees and some other housekeeping costs.
One original feature that could be added to the websites to increase donations is called the Gift Catalogue, which lets visitors "shop for donations." This means that people have the option to cover any of the expenses of the organization’s needs -- for example, one month of napkins, an inkjet cartridge, one day of Gatorade or one week of coffee.
With creative ideas to promote donations and fun designs, Bellstike could help nonprofits reach their goals.
