Guided Homebrewing Stout Kits

Mikkeller and IGulu Release a New Beer Geek Breakfast Kit

Mikkeller and iGulu created the Mikkeller x iGulu Beer Geek Breakfast Ingredient Kit, a guided homebrewing kit developed for the iGulu smart brewing system featuring an RFID recipe card that loads the recommended fermentation program. The kit translates Mikkeller's Beer Geek Breakfast recipe into a hands-on brewing experience designed to preserve the beer's defining profile.

The kit focuses on freshly brewed coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt over an oat-led body and is expected to reach 7.5–8% ABV. iGulu's system automatically manages key conditions such as temperature and pressure during each stage, the complete process takes about 14 days, and each kit yields roughly one gallon of finished beer. The ingredient pack is compatible with iGulu S1, S1 NEO, F1, F1 PRO and F2 systems.

For hobbyist brewers this offers a way to recreate an iconic stout at home with repeatable control and reduced manual monitoring. Early access opens on Kickstarter and the kit is planned to begin shipping in Q1 2027.
