Bed frames with built-in ledges and even drawers are not necessarily common, but they're not rare either. Bedside by Miguel Mestre strives for a similar idea, but executes it in a singular way that affords more versatility in arranging your bedroom.
Not flanked by a headboard or a footboard, the mattress sits upon a minimalist frame of dark stained wood. Four short legs keep the furnishing low to the floor to emphasize the spaciousness of its potentially tiny four-walled setting. One might find that there is no room to set bedside tables next to it, so the designer got resourceful.
A pair of panels was installed on tracks in the shallow gap beneath the bed. Bedside by Miguel Mestre enables you to draw one of them out on either side to function as adaptable tabletops and concealable storage for items like laptops and books.
