Not too long ago, Beats headphones were released by Monster and the rapper, much to the delight of hip hop fans, and the headset has inspired the development of the Beats by Dr. Dre Watch.
Alexandre Duhail particularly enjoyed the smooth and clean lines of the audio accessory, and these futuristic aesthetic features influenced the design of a piece with a very different function. In the mind of its creator, the chronograph is essentially a minimized and remodeled version of the personal speaker set. The face of the wristwatch mimics the shape and placement of a single earpiece, and the hard band ends at its base. The structured cuff can be expanded and snapped shut into place, much like a pair of headphones, and the Beats by Dr. Dre Watch concept has even adopted the bold logo of the original.
