The 'Typography Beard Guide' Matches Facial Hair with Fonts

If you have trouble expressing your beard's thoughts while typing, the 'Typography Beard Guide' is for you. Designer Christian Goldemann matched 25 beard styles with fonts so that you always pick the correct style. Each illustration on the chart features a different beard paired with a corresponding font.

Goldemann matched the beards with fonts based on the feeling of each style. According to the artist, "I picked fonts based upon the shape of the beard or whether a particular person who wore that kind of beard would have favored a particular font." A facial hair style like the goatee was matched with Bodoni while the classic mustache was matched with Baskerville. Goldemann also ventured beyond facial hair to pair the ever popular 'no beard' with Verdana.
