Although a yoga mat with a good grip is ideal for the studio, this type of equipment doesn't function as the best beach yoga mat. In order to address this and make it possible to have yogis take their practice anywhere, Twisted Guru developed a mat that is ideal for using by the seaside.
The large 5-by-7 beach yga mat is made from traditional Indian textiles and has a surface that's naturally non-slip. Taking further inspiration from Indian culture, the mats feature vegetable-dyed colors and patterns that mimic vintage saris and embroidery to honor sacred gods.
As well as providing a practical base for working out in the sun, the mats are also ideal for laying down and catching a few rays.
