Birmingham, Alabama-based Torq Defense Systems has launched an innovative and high-tech new battery-powered vehicle that is designed to be used by bomb disposal experts to get to their site of duty and make use of the equipment they need to complete their dangerous and extremely important jobs.
Dubbed the Torq LTEV, this battery-powered vehicle is powered by a motor that is capable of offering 18-horsepower for a top speed of 48 km/h. The battery allows for three hours of operation on a full charge. Elsewhere, the buggy is equipped with a fire extinguisher, ultra-bright LED spotlight, X-ray scanner and other pertinent modules.
