Yamaha is expanding its ‘CK’ stage keyboard line with the ‘CK76,’ a portable board for working musicians who want more reach than a 61-key setup offers without moving to a full piano format. Its 76-key semi-weighted action provides room for splits and layered parts, while built-in speakers and battery power keep it usable beyond a fixed studio or venue.
Dedicated organ and synth controls keep sound changes close at hand rather than buried in menus. An analog-to-digital input accepts microphones or external instruments for onboard effects and direct computer recording, while two split points support layered or multi-zone playing. The ‘CK76’ is now available through authorized Yamaha dealers.
The space between the ‘CK61’ and ‘CK88’ gives Yamaha room to serve gigging players who want more range without sacrificing mobility. Built-in speakers and battery power make livestreams and outdoor sets practical keyboard use cases without extra gear.
