Jordan Brand Builds a Space Jam Jordan 11 Cleat for Chen Jiexian

Jordan Brand created a player-exclusive 'Air Jordan 11 Space Jam' cleat for Taiwanese baseball star Chen Jiexian, bringing the sneaker's purple anniversary look onto the diamond. Made for the movie's 30th anniversary, the pair keeps the Jordan 11 profile but swaps in baseball-ready traction for game use.

The shoe uses a matte purple upper and an Air Jordan 11 silhouette, then connects it to a spike plate from Nike's 'Alpha Huarache Elite' baseball range. Chen gets the basketball model's visual identity with footing built for baseball, not casual wear. The purple Air Jordan 11 Space Jam cleat is expected to reach the public, though no date is set.

Chen's Alpha Huarache Elite version stays exclusive to him and is not expected to release. The baseball sole turns a nostalgia-driven Air Jordan into a hybrid performance product, widening Jordan Brand's appeal across sneaker culture and sport-specific footwear.
