Recently opened in 2012, it currently has the Barclay's symbol emblazoned on its white roof. Yet once Forest City Ratner and design partner SHoP Architects complete the remodeling, the Barclays Center green roof will small plants and soil covering a 130,000-square-foot expanse. This will effectively turn it into a gorgeous green mound that is brings a breath of fresh air to the immediate residential area.
