The new Barclays Center is a spectacular sight with its curvaceous and free-flowing design. AECOM and SHoP architects teamed up to produce this state of the art facility. The new arena is sure to aid in developing Brooklyn into a top destination for tourists.
Home to the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA and soon to be shared with the New York Islanders of the NHL, the new digs provide both teams with a place to master their crafts. With a capacity of 19,000 seats, 100 luxury suites, hip restaurants, bars and even three dance clubs, the arena offers a truly diverse experience. One of the most distinct traits of the Barclays Center is that it doesn't feature a dedicated parking lot. Instead, patrons will have access to the venue through a plethora of public transit options.
