The notorious British graffiti artist Banksy had his world premier as a film director with the film 'Exit Through the Gift Shop.' The Banksy film debut was a hot ticket at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival this week.
As a street artist Banksy can't seem to put a foot wrong and judging by the hype of his first film venture, Exit Through the Gift Shop might bring him equal amounts of street creed as a director.
The movie falls in the comedy genre and contains exclusive footage of many world renowned names on the street art scene including Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Invader and many more. Banksy describes it as so: “It’s basically the story of how one man set out to film the un—filmable. And failed."
