With the Apple Watch coming soon to Australia, Commonwealth Bank is preparing to take on banking apps from competitors by getting into wearables.
The CommBank app for iOS and Android wearables will be launching soon, available for existing CommBank customers. Making the most of wearable technology, the app will have a feature called Cardless Cash, which will allow customers to take out cash from ATMs with a secure 8-digit code. Using the touchscreen of a watch face, users are able to swipe in order to select the amount of money to be withdrawn. A CommBank's users account balance is also viewable from the app, making it very easy to get a sense of your financial standing at a glance.
