This Company is Producing the World’s First Bottled Bamboo Leaf Tea

Consumers can now enjoy the refreshing taste of bamboo leaf tea anytime thanks to the release of IGZU. Although bamboo tea has a long history in counties such as India and China, the drink is largely unheard of in North American and Europe. Now the refreshing beverage comes in a ready-to-drink bottle so that consumers everywhere can enjoy the light and crisp taste of bamboo.

According to company founders Zachary Anderson and Courtney McCoy, IGZU is "the world's first bottled bamboo leaf tea." The tea is primarily made from organic bamboo leaf stems, which serve as a sustainable plant-based ingredient. The drink is then infused with fruit and floral elements to create flavors such as Elderflower Citrus, Hibiscus Blackberry and Lavender Peach.The drink is similar to green tea in that it has a light and refreshing taste with just a hint of sweetness from the addition of organic cane sugar.

At only 40 calories per serving, the ready-to-drink tea provides a refreshing option for health-conscious consumers.
