At IFA 2019 in Berlin, Panasonic unveiled Balance of Being, a collection of concepts that fuse nature and technology to introduce a "new philosophy" for the home, health and well-being. In the collection of intuitive objects, there are a series of handheld gadgets and wearables centered around hair and skin health.
GROW is a headpiece that is designed to understand the condition and structure of the hair, and uses this data to provide a suitable infrared light treatment at a specific wavelength. Similarly, WAVE is a smart massager for the head and scalp that's designed to relieve stress by adapting the time, method and intensity of its output to a user's experience.
