The days when big dogs used to look on grudgingly as tiny dogs were toted around in bags are now over thanks to the Backpack-o-Pet. This unique pet carrier is capable of carrying a pet that weighs up to 50 pounds. Although designed specifically for trips on the New York subway system , it can obviously be used for other, similar situations as well.
Crafted in Manhattan, the Backpack-o-Pet is being touted as the first of its kind. Twice the size of a traditional pet carrier, the Backpack-o-Pet can be wheeled, carried or work as a backpack. It even folds up conveniently for easy storage. According to the designer, it meets all MTA regulations and restrictions for traveling with animals.
