Bug-Bedazzled Robes

The Dusen Dusen ‘Baby Doll' Dress is Cute

If you’re looking for fresh summer wear, the Baby Doll Dress from Dusen Dusen might just be for you. From afar, the sleeveless piece appears to have a polka-dot design, but as one looks closer they realize the dots that decorate the dress are actually little insect decals.

The effect is surprisingly cute; hence the name of the dress. Illustrations of beatles, dragonflies and ladybugs dot the fabric from collar to waist, providing an interesting twist to an otherwise plain outfit.

It should be noted that the designers steer clear of the creepier varieties of arthropods. There are, thankfully, no spiders or centipedes. Indeed, ladybugs seem to have a sharp sense of style; black polka dots on a red background accented with white patches don’t make for too shabby a look as far as bugs go.
