The Axixa Station Allows Cleaner Peeing on Walls

Axixa is a hygienic way of peeing in public. Urinating on walls and gates outdoors is common in many poverty stricken countries and can cause many diseases and environmental problems throughout cities.

Mexican designer Miguel Melgarejo created the Axixa urinal to attach to outdoor walls to help filter urination out of the public space. As a comedic aside, Miguel created the device to resemble pee dripping down a wall.

Implications - In a day and age where viral marketing is king, one of the most effective ways a company can appeal to consumers is by developing comedic and novel products. By investing in commodities that ensure a laugh each time they are used, the company will draw interest from irony-coveting consumers across the world.
