AVAU Milan Boutique Opens in Brera with Crosby Studios

AVAU Milan boutique marks the fragrance house's first permanent retail space, opening at Via Fiori Chiari 7 in Milan's Brera district. Designed in collaboration with Crosby Studios, the interior combines restored architectural elements, including original walls, exposed timber beams and a fireplace, with stainless steel work surfaces and laboratory-inspired fixtures. A bespoke sofa upholstered with a pattern inspired by Vatican frescoes references the founders' family history operating a perfumery inside Vatican City.

The boutique was created for AVAU by siblings Leonardo, Carolina and Caterina Catalani, whose family has worked in perfumery across three generations. A central installation known as the "Magic Tray" presents the brand's six fragrances and references a family ritual centered on choosing a daily scent. The interior also includes a kitchen conceived as a gathering space for conversation, product discovery and creative development within the brand's first dedicated retail location.
