BW Packaging is expanding automated food wrapping systems with the Hayssen X650, a machine designed to improve sealing accuracy and protect products during packaging. Its Jam Detection Technology identifies misplaced items and automatically opens the sealing jaws before contact, helping prevent damage and contamination. The system can also create an extended package for removal when optional rejection equipment is installed.
Designed primarily for cheese manufacturers, the X650 also accommodates frozen foods and fresh produce. Its long-dwell sealing system supports airtight packaging, while washdown construction simplifies cleaning. Operating at speeds of up to 150 packages per minute, the machine includes RFID access, programmable settings, and an OpView interface to streamline daily operations.
For BW Packaging, the launch expands its equipment portfolio. Food manufacturers could benefit from fewer packaging defects, reduced product waste, and more efficient production processes while maintaining strict sanitation requirements.
