Bento Artistry

Creativity Expressed Through the Art of the Japanese Lunch Box

Pikko at ‘Adventures in Bento Making’ blows me away. Her attention to detail and thought in each of her bento boxes is incredible. Her site features the work of the finest bento artists which transform ordinary meals into incredible edible artworks.

The box with the sausage ‘squid’ was created for a trip to the zoo, while others are touching (the fish saying I love you). The walrus is the cutest food I have ever seen.
