SoulCycle, the New York City-based fitness company, recently announced it will be launching an at-home cycling program session. The launch to an on-demand service is part of the brand's larger digital platform that offers personalized programming and "premium fitness content." SoulCycle's at-home cycling program will be integrated into the brand's new bike that includes a screen.
The shift to at-home fitness should be no surprise with the increase in remote fitness options. "The digital platform... reflects the future of experience — blending digital with physical, via exclusive, authentic, and engaging content — empowering consumers to choose where, how and when they work out," stated the brand in a press release.
By giving consumers the opportunity to workout wherever and whenever gives them more convenience and flexibility in their increasingly busy lives.
