Artist-Spotlighting Clothing Boutiques

Telsha Anderson Launched the Artist-in-residence

The Artist-in-Residence program is a new initiative from T.A New York's Owner and Buyer, Telsha Anderson. The goal of this program is to spotlight a different Black artist every season, providing some much needed representation in the fashion world. The pieces will be on display at the highly popular boutique.

The first show is titled Indispensable: Drawings by Nikki Terry, and showcases work from the artist which centres around her experiences as a Black woman. According to the artist herself, "I want young children of color to see two Black women who have different ways of creating art: you can own a beautiful store in a trendy neighborhood in New York City’s Meatpacking District and you can also be an artist exhibiting your work in the same space."
