At CES 2019, Artie 3000 has been unveiled by Educational Insights as a coding robot that engages kids through art.
While there are many coding toys for kids that encourage problem-solving and empower kids as the creators of their own video game worlds, this new coding toy is centered around art and design. The educational coding robot was created to be approachable, as kids can create simple or complex drawings based on their desired outputs.
Rather than physically putting pen to paper themselves, kids are able to drag and drop code into a digital device and then watch Artie 3000 execute their specified commands. Artie 3000 is compatible with a range of devices, including computers, laptops, tablets and various mobile devices and requires no Internet connection for play.
