Arthur Arbesser Draws Cultural Heritage Influence From Koloman Moser
The Arthur Arbesser Fall 2018 line is influenced by the Australian designer's cultural origin. Arbesser has always been proud of his descent and consistently tries to incorporate it in his work. For Fall 2018, the designer looks to Koloman Moser, an Austrian painter, decorator, interior designer, and the Vienna Secession movement for inspiration. The artist's work is translated through the collection's geometric designs, incorporating graphic looks and clean fluid skirts and dresses.
The new Arthur Arbesser Fall 2018 collection gives off a pleasant naïf vibe with pieces like an hourglass dress and peacoats worn over draped skirts and cotton maxi dresses. All of the pieces are decorated with floral multicolored graphics and colorful fauna. Eclecticism is also present in the collection as some of the pieces are made with metallic fabrics and iridescent silks.
