The season for summer entertaining is just around the corner for those residing in the Northern Hemisphere and the Apple Roses would be the perfect treat for guests to munch on. Of course, they might not want to take a bite out of these sculptural confections as they are incredibly beautiful to behold. Yet what makes the Apple Roses better than actual flowers is the fact that they are as tasty as they are pretty.
Created by Greek baker Kouzino Mageieremata, the Apple Roses don't require much to make. In addition to the apples themselves, they recipe calls for puff pastry, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, water and lemon juice. A mouth-watering treat, the Apple Roses would be especially great to serve at outdoor garden parties and traditional afternoon tea events.
