The Apollo 11 Table by Harold Sangouard comes as a high-end piece of furniture that is inspired by the iconic lunar mission that took place in 1969.
Boasting an upper surface that looks just like the lunar surface, the table also has legs and feet that resemble the landing gear of the spacecraft. The designer used digital files as a reference to recreate the imagery on the top portion along with the bottom for a truly authentic aesthetic.
The Apollo 11 Table by Harold Sangouard identifies the ways that history can be incorporated into the design of a space to help blend the aesthetics and events of the past with those of today. Only 12 examples of the table have been created with the price remaining undisclosed.
