Artist Asma Javeri Creates Striking Drawings Around Junk Food

The intricate anatomy illustrations of Asma Javeri, a graphic designer based in Karachi, Pakistan, are not what a student would find in a biology textbook. Although the level of detail is on par with such artists, the incorporation of a variety of chocolates makes it impossible to include in such learning manuals. Of course, it would make the lessons a lot more interesting.

Currently being shared as a serious on Instagram, the chocolate anatomy illustrations will have people thinking about their bodies in a whole new way -- perhaps getting them hungry in the process. Design Taxi writes, "Javeri juxtaposes hearts, lungs and other organs with truffles, wafers and chocolate-coated biscuits to create artwork that are literally sweet." There is a bit of a morbid twist to the work as well.
