LAYER designs the new Ampi charging stations that are made for Vitra. It is able to keep up to six devices charging at once as a progressive new technology option. It hides away the cords and cables that are normally connected to the chargers.
It is made from recyclable plastic and is reminiscent of a jewelry box that is filled with different charging options. It also has an induction charging surface at the top. The front drawer of the system opens up to showcase one USB-C port and two USB-A ports along with two power outlets. The Ampi originally launches Basic Dark and Soft Grey tonal options with plans to deliver colorful iterations in the coming months.
