American Express Canada and Air Canada are giving their co-brand Aeroplan Card portfolio a major upgrade, with new perks designed to make the journey itself more rewarding. Beginning Jan. 12, 2027, select Cardmembers can access benefits spanning flights, airports, hotels, rental cars and even some of Canada’s buzziest restaurants.
Highlights include up to $100 annually toward Air Canada travel, 15% savings on eligible flight reward redemptions and complimentary fourth nights at more than 300,000 hotels. The Aeroplan Reserve Card adds expanded lounge access, priority security lanes and a $200 annual dining credit at participating Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants. Its annual fee will also rise from $599 to $799. The new perks give frequent travelers more ways to get value out of the card before they even reach their destination.
