Amazon Pharmacy is Increasing Access to Oral GLP-1 Medication

Novo Nordisk's Ozempic pill made the only FDA-approved oral GLP-1 medication accessible in a non-injectable format, and Amazon Pharmacy is further increasing access to the Ozempic pill by offering Same-Day prescription delivery and pickup within minutes through in-office kiosk locations. This initiative, created to support over 36 million Americans living with type 2 diabetes, will let customers with an Ozempic pill prescription order through Amazon Pharmacy, see real-time availability in their area, view transparent pricing and get fast, direct delivery nationwide, whether or not they hold a Prime membership.

Soon, the Ozempic pill will be available through this Same-Day Delivery service to nearly 3,000 cities and towns, and it's is set to expand to nearly 4,500 cities and towns by the end of 2026.
