Amazon Kids+ Sleep Studio has been announced by the brand as a new feature that will transform the Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Kids smart speakers into a bedtime companion. The feature targets the large percentage of children in the US who don't get enough sleep and works by having parents set up a personalized sleep schedule for little ones. The speaker will then start a 30-minute wind-down before bedtime that will help kids to get mentally prepared for bed.
GM of Amazon Kids Eric Kuhn commented on the Amazon Kids+ Sleep Studio saying, "Healthy sleep habits are critical for kids, but we know bedtime isn’t always easy. We designed Sleep Studio to make bedtime a little easier for everyone: simple scheduling, stories and sounds kids love, all on a device families already have at home. When kids sleep better, parents sleep better too.”
