Amazon is launching its online shopping service in South Africa, stepping into a market predominantly dominated by Naspers' various online retailers.

One of the key features of Amazon.co.za is its robust delivery network, providing customers with options for same-day delivery and next-day delivery across the country. Additionally, the platform boasts a network of over 3,000 pickup points, further enhancing accessibility for shoppers. To incentivize initial adoption, Amazon is offering free delivery on first orders, with subsequent orders above 500 rand ($27.07) qualifying for free delivery as well.

Customers in South Africa can look forward to a diverse shopping experience on Amazon.co.za, with access to a wide range of local and international brands spanning 20 different product categories. These categories encompass consumer electronics, home appliances, small kitchen appliances, and more.
